Pioneer in automation for radio stations, the Minas Gerais company presented the latest versions of the software Logger 2.0 and Aires Studio.

The world’s largest media innovations fair, #NABShow took place April 8-12 at the convention center in Las Vegas. The eastern Minas Gerais company Playlist Software Solutions INC participated in the exhibition for the eighth consecutive time, with a team of 5 people engaged in attending, sharing the projects of automation and virtualization for radio stations, contributing positively to the global trends of radio transmission, along with the other attractions of the most important broadcasting event ever.

 

This year the NAB Show received more than 1,600 exhibitors from 165 countries, and counted approximately 100 thousand participants. Creators and consumers of diverse platforms, rooted in different cultures, different methods and professional techniques, with a common goal: to exchange technological and innovative information regarding the production and diffusion of media contents.

 

Esports Experience challenged visitors to experience Gameplay.

 

The highlights of the fair were the presentation of the 5G feature on wireless internet connections, updates and the new generation of Virtual Reality (VR), as well as many news about streaming, which dictate the next trend in broadcasting. The event schedule included courses about current themes like cybersecurity – a topic that was much discussed after the latest leak of information on Wikileaks, also podcasting workshops and the Esports Experience area, a gaming environment packed with next generation consoles and PCs. The convention center brought together professionals, influencers and amateurs for an opportunity to discover a new future of information together.

Playlist’s corner were next to the main stage and mainly composed by five stations prepared with PCs, iPAds and MACs, besides softwares Logger 2.0, Automation Suite and the new platform Aires Studio. Setting an appropriate vibe with the perfect tools for creating, the visitors felt welcome to try demonstrations towards the softwares, experimenting Playlist’s style. The squad approached around 240 interested people from all over the world, but mainly from Americans.

The COO of the company, Marcelo Costa, commented the participation in the NAB Show 2019 saying that in this type of event with global proportions, the intention is to break boundaries between culture and extend the reach as well as the statement of Playlist across all continents. Taking into account the real demands of the radio stations, which proves the authenticity of the software, which has international interest and allows the company to be recognized and respected on this market.

 

The NAB SHOW 2019 is over and we miss it, but the Playlist team is already busy preparing for the next NAB SHOW in 2020, and also to other events on national territory and Latin America that’s going to happen later this year.
